A Lifetime of Love, a Story of New Beginnings

Thank you, Carol!

When lan arrived at ReCraft with a car full of fabric, yarn, and crafting supplies, he brought more than a donation. He brought a lifetime of creativity, care, and a story about the power of making.

The collection belonged to his mother, Carol, a lifelong knitter, quilter, and craftsperson. After osteoarthritis made it impossible for her to continue quilting and knitting, Carol knew it was time for her treasured materials to find a new home.

Before donating, Carol carefully sorted, ironed, folded, trimmed, and organized each piece, making sure her supplies were ready for others to enjoy as much as she had.

Several years ago, lan brought Carol to ReCraft, where she was inspired by the creativity and community built around these materials. She knew that if she ever had to step away from her crafts, ReCraft would be the place where her collection could continue inspiring others.

While Carol's crafting looks different today, her creativity continues through watercolor, drawing, and puzzles. She has also spent years sharing her talents with others, donating handmade quilts, blankets, and prayer shawls to support her community.

At ReCraft, we are honored to help Carol's materials continue their journey. Each piece carries a story and will now inspire new projects, new makers, and new memories.

Thank you, Carol, for trusting ReCraft with your collection and reminding us that creativity never truly ends. It simply finds a new way to grow.
